Cypress Gardens ‘Going Green for Wildlife’ Sept. 19
Published Tuesday, September 15, 2009 2:57 PM
“Going Green for Wildlife” will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at Cypress Gardens from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Price, included in park admission, is $10 for adults, and $5 for children ages 6-12.

Berkeley County residents and Berkeley County Government employees will be admitted free from 9 a.m. – 12 noon; proof of residency includes drivers license or utility bill (with photo I.D.)

The unique event is a fun way to find out how to help the environment.

Enjoy a day at the park with music, crafts for kids, recycling and conservation information, butterfly gardening talks, and free giveaways.

Recycle your extra clothes and household goods by bringing them to donate to the Salvation Army.  There will also be food for sale.
