Santee Cooper launches Storm Center

Santee Cooper launched Storm Center, a near real time outage resource that provides relevant information to customers and other key audiences.

This interactive feature updates outage information every 15 minutes and is available on Santee Cooper’s Web site and its mobile friendly Web site.

Using Storm Center, customers can now also report outages via the Web or their smart phones.

During storms and other outage times, we understand customers want to know Santee Cooper is not only aware of the outage, but that we are actively working to safely restore power,” said Mike Poston, Santee Cooper vice president of retail operations. “This tool helps put the critical info they need right at their fingertips.”
